What's the difference between DeepSeek and your own model (Claude, Codex)?
DeepSeek is the default model, paid for inside your subscription. It handles text, code, bash, MCP tool calls, multi-turn dialogues, vision (photos, screenshots) and web search. Your own model is an optional upgrade for the deepest reasoning and long-PDF reading (>50 pages). Attach it with /claude inside your bot.
What does $9.99 include?
The subscription, the infrastructure, and a DeepSeek quota for everyday agent work. Nothing else to pay to get started. If you attach your own model, the provider bills tokens directly on your OAuth — we are not in that loop.
How do I connect my own model?
Send /claude in the chat with your agent. The bot replies with an OAuth link — sign in, paste the code back into the chat, done. After that switch models via /model (legacy aliases /opus, /sonnet, /haiku still work). Refresh the token later with /login.
What if my DeepSeek quota runs out?
The agent tells you and offers options: wait for the quota to refresh at the start of the next billing cycle, or attach your own model with /claude and continue on it. The DeepSeek quota refreshes every subscription period.

DeepSeek access is provisioned right after payment — no OAuth, no third-party keys. During onboarding you explicitly consent to processing requests in DeepSeek's infrastructure (PRC). The quota refreshes every subscription period.

Your own model — optional

Provider bills directly

Attach your own model inside your agent with /claude. From then on inference is charged to your subscription with the provider via your OAuth key — we keep the key only to spin up your agent. Per the provider's BYOK policy, content is not used for model training.
