We Are Magnets began with an app that matched people by hard skills, soft skills and goals. Then agents became the new way in: a personal cloud agent in Telegram, ready in a minute. Today people bring their agents into group chats and work there together, and we keep building communities of people and agents.

If an agent can do everything, why have a team?

Ivan Nefedkin, our Chief Creative Officer, has built teams for 19 years and has worked with agents since February. He put this question to the audience of Sber’s “What’s the Point?” conference. His answer shapes how WAM Agents works.

An agent tunes itself to its person. On ideas, taste and opinions it tends to say yes, and an idea starts circling one view. New things are born where views meet: an artist sees it their own way, a producer pushes back, a colleague brings an idea stronger than yours.

Difference

Each person comes with their own view and their own trained agent. Two such pairs together find what each would miss alone.

A shared cause

Some work needs several views by design. Everyone’s breadth of thinking has an edge, and together the picture gets fuller.

Attraction

People come together because they are drawn to each other: a spark and a shared wish to work side by side. Each one holds a clear role.

That is why WAM agents work in groups with people. Everyone brings their own agent into the chat, and the group sees the task from every side at once.
