Step by step
Speaking practice with AI: a 10-minute voice routine in Telegram

Speaking practice needs someone to talk to. Your AI agent in Telegram can be that someone. You send a voice note, it transcribes what you said, answers by voice and points out the phrases worth fixing. Four steps, about ten minutes a day.
Step 1. Set the rules once
Type one message that describes the practice: the language, your level, how long the answers should be and how many corrections you want. The agent saves it to memory. Tomorrow you just send a voice note.
Keep corrections to two per message. Ten fixes at once is a lesson nobody remembers.
Step 2. Talk for a minute
Hold the mic button and talk about anything real: your plans for the day, a film, what went wrong at work. One to two minutes is enough. Voice, audio files and the soundtrack of a video are transcribed automatically (Deepgram Nova-3), so you never type.
Before the first real session, send a 20-second test note in your target language and ask the agent to write back exactly what it heard.
Step 3. Listen to the reply on the move
The agent answers by voice, so the reply works with earbuds on a walk or in a queue. Answer back by voice and keep the conversation going for three or four turns. If the reply is too fast or too hard, say so in the target language: that is practice too.
Step 4. Review the two fixes
At the end of the day ask for a short recap of the corrections. Copy the ones that came up twice into a notebook or keep them in the chat. Next morning, ask the agent to start the session with a question that makes you use one of them.
What ten minutes a day cost
Voice is the main cost here. Transcription counts 1 per minute of your voice, and a spoken reply costs from 4 per 1,000 characters, about a minute of speech. Five minutes of your talking and five minutes of spoken replies a day come to 5 + 20 = 25 , about 750 a month: for daily practice with spoken replies, take Pro and add top-ups as you go. With text replies the day comes to about 5 for transcription, so the Free plan’s 200 covers your first month of daily practice. Ask for a voice reply when you want one. Details are on the pricing page.
How the agent checks your speech
To follow your progress over months, send one message: “keep a list of my recurring mistakes in memory”. The agent then tracks them for you.

Can I practise speaking with AI for free?
Yes. Free gives 200 in the first month, then 100 a month, no card. Voice is priced by length: transcription is 1 per minute and a spoken reply costs from 4 per 1,000 characters. With text replies and voice only on demand, a day comes to about 5 , so the first month covers about six weeks of practice.
Which languages work?
Voice is transcribed by Deepgram Nova-3, which handles many languages. Send a 20-second test note in your target language and ask the agent to write back what it heard before you build a routine on it.
Does the agent reply by voice?
Yes. Ask for voice replies once and it keeps doing so; it can also answer in text when you are somewhere you can’t listen.
